Fletcher M. Ford - President and CEO
Mr. Fletcher Ford, our President and CEO is a native of the Midwestern area, born in Peoria, Illinois and growing up most of his life in the Quad Cities. Fletcher holds over 20 years of business experience and has won numerous awards. Fletcher's work includes major market clients, small market clients, and various other businesses. He has been in broadcasting for many years and continues daily to improve local radio.
Jason Gilbraith - Vice President of Operations
Jason is a native to the Kewanee and Quad Cities area all his life. He has deep ties to the area communities and an extreme passion for success. He takes a lot of pride in and enjoys helping area businesses grow and succeed. Jason volunteers thousands of hours for local charity work, successfully campaigned and has overseen dozens of benefits for area individuals and businesses. He lives in Annawan with his wife Erin of 23 years. All three of their sons served or are currently serving in the United States Air Force. Chandler served in Security Forces from 2010-2014, stationed at Holloman AFB, NM. He served a tour in Afghanistan, in Security Forces. Cameron is serving in the United States Air Force in Okinawa, Japan, as a Munitions System Technician/AMMO. Carter recently graduated basic training and is training for Security Forces, his next assignment will be in Europe.
Wayne R. Miller - Chief Engineer
Wayne is a native of Illinois with vast ties to the local community throughout the state. Wayne is a product of local radio and his passion is serving the communities by ensuring that radio stations across the area sound the absolute best they can. With an extensive personal history in radio dating back to his college days, it is safe to say Wayne is one of the best in the area. Along with serving as the Chief Engineer for all Regional Media stations, he is an inspector for the Illinois Broadcasters Association, and the head of engineering and IT for The Illinois Farm Bureau Radio Network. Wayne has also held the state of Illinois Emergency Communications Chairman (EAS).
Audra Lynn Ford - Senior Business Manager
Audra, a longtime business owner and entrepreneur, is in charge of the companies traffic department and the office of the President of the company. Audra has longstanding ties to the local communities with vast involvement in her local church. Audra runs various Bible study programs, works with local charities throughout the area. In her free time she enjoys reading, and playing stupid games on her phone.
Mr. Jason Chute - Market Manager Jason is a native to Western Illinois, born and raised in Rushville. After graduating from Western Illinois University with a degree in Communications, he chose to pursue his career path in the Macomb area. Jason has over 14 years of sales experience and is involved in many community organizations including McDonough County VIBE, Macomb Centennial Morning Rotary Club and is an Ambassador for the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce. Helping to develop advertising campaigns for local business is his specialty. Jason enjoys spending time with his family and watching Chicago CUBS baseball.
Sean Kernan - Program Director - Sean has been in radio for more than 18 years beginning at Mix 96.1 FM in Davenport also hosting Retro Saturday Night. He went on to WOC 1420 until 2010 when he joined Regional Media. Sean has been instrumental in long-term growth of our Quad City facility. Sean was promoted to Operations Manager and along with his team, continues to deliver high quality localized programming for the area. Sean is also a professional film critic with his movie reviews heard on all Regional Media stations. He is a lifetime Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan and his favorite movie of all time is "The Big Lebowski.”
Karissa Nash-Haptonstall - Program Director - Karissa is a born and raised Galva girl. Karissa started out part-time with Regional Media which helped her discover her love for the Broadcasting industry, she is now the Host of the Hog Country Morning Show as well as the Regional Media Shopping Show. In her off time Karissa enjoys Spending time with her Family and friends including her daughter Ivie and husband Derek. Karissa Also enjoys coaching Cheerleading for Galva Junior High School and crafting. Something you might be surprised to learn about her is that she is a licsenced Cosmetologist.
Sam Kuperman- News and Sports Director
Sam was born and raised in New Jersey. He’s a 2016 graduate of Ithaca College in Upstate New York, earning a degree in Journalism. Sam serves as the Voice of the Macomb Bombers, broadcasting football and basketball games. Additionally Sam covers Western Illinois University sports, hosts K100’s “Koop on K100” morning show, and does Macomb’s weather and sports updates. When he’s not broadcasting sports, odds are he’s watching them. He’s an avid fan of the New York Giants, New York Yankees, and Brooklyn Nets. He also greatly values spending time with friends and family. Since coming to the Midwest, Sam has particularly taken a liking to Chicago, and loves visiting the city.
Bob McKee - News and Sports Director A veteran of more than 20 years in radio, Bob McKee has hosted mornings on WKEI for more than 8 years. Bob is also the lead voice of Regional Media Sports in our Kewanee Cluster. Bob handles the Play by Play for the hometown Kewanee Boilermakers for Football and Basketball.
Anthony Sturtevant - Revenue Specialist
Anthony Sturtevant is a native of Kewanee, for many years. Now lives in Rock Island for 13 years. He brings nearly 15 years of sales and sales management experience to the Regional Media team. He has received numerous Customer Service awards over his 13 years at AT&T. Anthony is very active in the motorcycle community, with a focus on awareness and safety. He loves to spend time with his daughter, Aleah, and enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially hockey, baseball and football.
Rob Peters - Revenue Specialist
Rob one of our Account Managers, is a native of Galva where he grew up and went to high school. Rob is a sports fanatic, having participated in football throughout high school and his college career. Rob is a graduate from Illinois College with a degree in Management and Organizational Leadership with a focus in Marketing. Rob has been enjoying making the connections with clients and helping businesses find the right marketing plan for them in order to boost their business in the most efficient way possible. Rob still enjoys coaching football and weightlifting whenever he gets the chance, and is currently a Kewanee resident.
Rachel Lester - Revenue Specialist - Rachel was born and raised in Blandinsville, IL and is a graduate of Western Illinois University. She has stayed around the Macomb area most of her adult life. She loves her community and has been involved in many orginizations in the area.
Jessica Edgell-Interactive Sales Manager - Jessica is a graduate of Western Illinois University where she focused on Event Planning. After spending many years in the restaurant business and some time as a wedding planner, Jessi is able to use her customer service skills to better serve Regional Media where she plans to put on many events and be involved in the community. She enjoys hockey and loves to watch her favorite team the St Louis Blues.
Ali Weston - On air Producer / Community Relations - Ali grew up in Kewanee. She pursued an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Western Illinois University but, after taking a year off, has returned to gain her Specialist Degree in School Psychology. While going to school full-time, she also works for Regional Media and as a Graduate Assistant on campus in Kewanee and Macomb. In the little free time she gets, she enjoys playing with her cat, Batman, visiting her family at home, and being outdoors.
Dewain Hulett- On air Producer / Community Relations - Dewain Hulett has worked with WLMD, WKAI other Regional Media stations as a sports broadcaster for either basketball or football since 1998. Currently he does BPC basketball on WLMD. He graduated from B-PC in 1992 and worked full-time at WKAI in 2002. He was the editor of the former Macomb Journal and was a 911 dispatcher in McDonough County for 13 years, all while broadcasting BPC sports, among other teams. Dewain, now works full-time at Steinjager, in Bushnell, as a salesman, but remains active in the community. He is on the 911 ETSB board, a member of the Good Hope-Sciota Fire Department and coaches BWP High School baseball. He also is active in the Illinois racing scene as an announcer for the traveling Midwest Open Wheel Association Sprint Car series, as well as track announcer at Quincy Raceways and Tri-City Speedway.
Ryan Mumma - Sports Department Macomb
Ryan provides the afternoon sports updates and also produces for Regional Media during local sporting events. He is a sports broadcasting student at Western Illinois University. He also hosts and produces his own sports talk show called MAN COVERAGE. Ryan is a big Chicago sports fan and is very passionate about the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks.
Chris Slusser | On-Air Producer - Community Relations
A native of Kewanee, Illinois, Chris Slusser has been with Regional Media for many years as a producer for Geneseo Sports on Hog Country 102.5 WJRE. Chris is also frontline producer for most live event broadcasts including Kewanee Hog Days and The Back Road Music Festival.
Nathan Baliva - Sports Broadcaster - As the Director of Media and Baseball Operations of the Peoria Chiefs who has been broadcasting football, basketball and volleyball games for Regional Media since 2005. A native of Chatham, Illinois, Nathan is a graduate of both Marquette University (B.A. in Broadcast & Electronic Communications) and the University of Florida (Masters in Sports Communication). He has called nearly 2000 Minor League Baseball games with the Chiefs as both an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. During the baseball offseason Nathan works with Regional Media while also covering a variety high school and college sports for Mediacom TV, Illinois State Soccer on ESPN3 and writing for the Dispatch-Argus. Jeremy C. McCool - Sports Broadcaster
As a native of Chicago, Illinois, in 2015, Jeremy graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from Western Illinois University, where he began his radio career at 17 hosting a nighttime show on 88.3 WIUS “The Dog”. In 2012 he became the station’s Music Director, a position he held for 3 years. During the summer of 2013, Jeremy completed an internship at 99.1 WSMK “Smokin’ 99.1” out in Niles, Michigan. While currently helping bring entertainment to the campus as WIU’s Music Business Graduate Assistant, Jeremy is now working on gaining his Masters in Communications at Western Illinois University while working with Regional Media at the age of 23.
Russ Hughes - Sports Broadcaster
Born in Aurora, il, and moved to Kewanee in 1962. A graduate from Kewanee High School in 1970, Russ attended collage at Northwood University and attended auto dealer son school, and graduated in 1975. He started washing cars at the age of 15, and sold his first new car at the age of 16. Russ owns and operates Hughes auto Group. He started broadcasting football and basketball games in 1988. He has been a member of Kiwanis for 42 years serving in many offices including President in 1984-1985. Russ have also held a seat on the board of Zion Lurthern Church for three terms encompassing 24 years. He also continues to sing in the chancel choir for 38 years. Russ has been married to Christina M Hughes for 42 years, has three children Elizabeth, Andrew, and Aaron along with 6 grandchildren, Katherine, Wesley, Avalyn, Cullen, Lincoln, and Owen.
Mike Cocquit - Sports Broadcaster
Mike is the voice of Geneseo High School Football and Basketball for Regional Media Sports. Mike Cocquit is a veteran of over 20 years in professional radio. Mike is lead reporter for Geneseo News which airs weekday morning on WKEI. Mike is also lead announcer for Geneseo Football and Basketball games while providing color commentary for Geneseo Softball and Volleyball.
Mike Guens - Sports Broadcaster
Mike has worked alongside Mike Cocquit as Color Analyst for Geneseo Green Machine Football and Geneseo Boys and Girls Basketball since 2011. A native of Annawan, Mike is also a successful Financial Consultant agency for Country Financial.

Rachel is a Kewanee native who enjoys photography as well as spending time with her son Cade. She loves learning new things at the station and applying them to her work.
